Hi my name is Adrian, welcome to my web site.

Unfortunately I can’t book any accommodation for you but I may be able to answer any questions you have about a particular venue or generate ideas of what you can do when you are here.

After all there are so many activities you can get involved with and I’ve listed a few below.

Hiking

There are so many walks you can do from short and easy going to uphill strenuous slogs and I’ve listed some of my favorites here. If you travelling with children one of my favorites is the Boggarts in longshaw walk because it is relatively flat, there is plenty to see and do, there are ducks to feed and you can have a picnic by the river in the gorge.

Hiking Challenges.

Apart from the half day or full day hikes we’ve also got some awesome long distance hikes.

One of the longest is Adrian’s Walk – Roughin it in the Peaks

And of course there is the Peak District Four Peak Challenge which is a 25.6 mile hike which can be completed in one or two days so it is great for the kids as well.

Stately homes

We’ve got some fantastic stately homes to have a look at in the peak district. There is Chatsworth house which is amazing and there’s Hardwick Hall on the Hardwick estate.

Well dressing

Nowhere in the world can you marvel at the age old and unique tradition of well dressing.  Well dressers in around 80 towns and villages create 100’s of living art displays which usually decorate the community's wells, springs or gardens (if the wells have disappeared) from May right up to September.
