Guided Walks Peak District

A little about the author

My name is Adrian, I have worked as a professional guide, and I ensure safety at all times whilst making sure clients have an excellent day.

As well as an experienced hill walker I am also a qualified first aid instructor, in fact when I'm not out walking I'm teaching all levels of first aid to businesses throughout the UK.

Previously I have worked as an outdor pursuits instructor leading groups of all ages all over the UK.

Our full day guided walks are as long as you would like them to be.

I have spent many years trekking the Peaks (and other hills and mountains around the world) and can plan an interesting walk/hike just for you and your group.

My do’s and don’ts:

  • I do guided walks.
  • I don’t wear a high vis jacket!
  • I do know how to read a map.
  • I don’t get you lost!
  • I do take you to some of the best sights in the Peak district.
  • I don’t put you in any danger!
  • I do provide you with as much local knowledge and facts as you need.
  • I don’t bore you!
  • I do like a real ale after my walks.
  • I don’t do Pimms and lemonade!

For a more challenging experience, try the The White to Dark Peak Walk

Do you fancy a two or three day hike in the Peak district?

For the more adventurous, an overnight camp can be arranged. You can either carry all the equipment or have it delivered (£50 extra charge per day) to the camp site.

The White to Dark Peak walk was created to celebrate the 25th birthday of the Country Walking Magazine. The White to Dark Peak walk takes you through some great landscape in the Peak District on an unforgettable long weekend.

It's a one, two or three-day trail (so it's perfect for a Bank Holiday) and in the course of 27 miles you'll go from Bakewell to Hope (from White Peak to Dark Peak, hence the name) via unique landscapes, unmissable attractions and brilliant pubs (and I’ve visited them all!!).

A few of the highlights of the White to Dark Peak walk includes: Monsal Head – Cressbrook Dale – Litton – Eyam – Bretton Clough – Hathersage– Stanage Edge – Win Hill.

Disclaimer!
Without wanting to sound like my mum I have to inform you that the weather in the Peak District is unpredictable all year round (march 2013 – 1 meter of snow!) and you need to bring the correct equipment for the day – always plan for the worst. See our disclaimer.
